Ken Whitmore

Ken Whitmore is a California native who, while attending college, worked part-time in a portrait studio and took pictures for his college paper. After his return from the Korean War, he returned Los Angeles and pursued a freelance photography career. He received his first big break when he was chosen to go to Egypt with Cecil B. DeMille and his crew to shoot editorial stills on The Ten Commandments set. Later in his career he worked for TV Guide, shooting many assignments of television personalities including Barbara Eden, William Shatner, Marlo Thomas and Joan Collins.
