0406_0542 Actor Richard Burton, an almost constant companion of actress Elizabeth Taylor in recent weeks, makes a surprise public appearance with his wife, Sybil, April 27th, as they arrived at the airport here to meet their four-year-old daughter Kate (center). Burton, who crashed his car into a roadside ditch near Miss Taylor's villa last night and then walked the rest of the way, drove to the airport with his wife to meet their child. Burton left the airport with his brother-in-law while Mrs. Burton left in another car with Kate. This was the first public disclosure that Mrs. Burton had slipped into Rome. 04-27-1962
