In 1941, Curt Gunther moved to New York City from Berlin, Germany to pursue a career in photography. His career spanned five decades and included his being: Chief Photographer for Keystone Pictures, New York City; the principal owner of a studio, and the creator of the photo agency, Camera 5. While in London photographing The Beatles, he was invited and, of course accepted, an invitation to travel with the fab four and to photograph them on their first American tour. Gunther has photographed celebrities, presidents, major sporting events and everything in between.
