Kim Maydole Lynch grew up in Los Angeles and began her career on the other side of the camera lens. She met Chester Maydole while getting portfolio pictures for her modeling career. In 1970 they were married, and within the year, she was assisting him on shoots until his death in 1977. A few years later she remarried and moved to Upstate New York where she organized and archived celebrity photos taken by Chester Maydole as well as her own.
