Lou Jacobs Jr.
Lou Jacobs Jr. was grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but made his way out west after serving in World War II. He moved to Los Angeles to attend Art Center College of Design where he received a degree in photojournalism. During the 1950s he began working as a freelance photographer and for more than four decades his images and articles on many subjects were widely published in magazines. In 1959 he wrote his first photography book which was followed by dozens more. Over the years, Lou has also been very involved with ASMP and has taught photojournalism at various local colleges.
